We are currently raising Northern Australian Blue Tongue Skinks. We hope to begin breeding and offering them in the summer of 2016 or 2017. This is a popular locale among keepers of these lizards. They make excellent pets, are generally calm, large, very hardy, and have attractive coloration. They really are a joy to work with. They can be fed a very simple captive diet, not requiring live insects like most pet lizards. They can and should be fed a wide variety of foods such as green leafy lettuces, high quality cat foods both wet and dry, hard boiled eggs, various meats, and some fruits. These get to be very impressive animals as adults.
